​Our main focus for treating patients is through naturopathy. The foundation of naturopathy is that the body has built-in healing abilities. Instead of focusing on specific diseases, a qualified holistic wellness professional (naturopath) focuses on the whole person, considering the physical, emotional, environmental and energetic/spiritual aspects of wellness. Think of it like a doctor of natural medicine.

A naturopath uses naturally occurring medicines to treat people with disorders, recommends dietary or lifestyle changes to help prevent disease and offers complementary medical advice. It is a functional medical model of treating the whole person rather than simply suppressing disease. 

In short, if you would prefer a more holistic and natural approach to healing (without drugs or surgery) you would consult a naturopath in place of, or in conjunction with, a general practitioner.
