Epimedium (Horny Goat Weed) helps to increase blood flow. With erectile function, The Goat enhances nitric oxide production and cGMP (a chemical with a fancy name) which help with smooth muscle relaxation. Hey, wait a minute! Who wants smooth muscle relaxation? Well, it gets the blood flowing. So if things aren't working up to standard, PDE5 (an enzyme) is inhibiting nitric oxide and cGMP and causing a lack of blood flow. This can be disappointing for both you and your partner. For women it helps with blood flow and sexual arousal as well.
Damiana helps with anxiety, nervousness, stress adaptation, and is considered an aphrodisiac. It also helps with pain relief. Stress with its increase in cortisol production can interfere with sexual performance. Tending to stress with adrenal support can only help. The same goes for anxiety and nervousness.
Shatavari. It helps to increase sexual vitality. Yes, it's known as a woman's herb, but it helps men too. It helps to decrease inflammation and can boost sperm count.
Mānuka is included for its anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial action. It also imports and pleasant taste to the tea.
Ashwagandha or Withania is known "to impart the strength of a horse." It helps with libido, strength, sleep, anxiety, and is anti-inflammatory.
Nettle root is included to help with possible inflammation of the prostate gland in men. For women it helps with sex hormone production and helps to balance them.
Cinnamon helps with blood flow, blood sugar regulation, and adds a bit of flavour to the tea.
